ΣΧ Alumni Lunch October 2026

Please join us Friday October 9, 2026 at Sigma Chi owned Miguel’s Cocina in Old Town, as our special guest speaker will be Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Natalie Lamb. Commanding Officer 1^st Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Recruit Deport San Diego

Enlisting in the United States Navy in 2000, Lieutenant Colonel Lamb started her military career reporting to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois. Following basic training she completed Information Systems Technician (IT) “A” school.

In 2004 she enrolled in the United States Naval Academy. Graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in English and a minor in Spanish, 2^nd Lieutenant Lamb began her Marine Officer’s career.

Her training and assignments included Communications, Camp Commandant, Systems Control Watch Officer, Advanced Communication Officer, Academics Instructor, Inspector-Instructor, Operations Officer, Director of Drill Instructor School, Commanding Officer of Recruiting Station Fort Worth, and Cybersecurity Division Director of Marine Corps Cyberspace Operation.

Along the way these positions included posts at Quantico VA, Camp Pendleton CA, Miramar CA, Kaneohe HI, Fort Worth TX, San Diego CA, Newport RI, and finally back here to San Diego. In addition, she also earned a Masters of Art Degree in Strategy and Tactics from the Naval War College. (I hope she got to keep the airline mileage points!)
