Our speaker Fred Shatsky from the Midway Museum, the historic "Operation Frequent Wind" evacuation of Saigon in 1975. The carrier Midway evacuated 3,000 people in one the largest humanitarian rescues ever performed. It was a dramatic performance of American know-how and a scene everyone should see.
ALL ΣΧ alumni are welcome no matter if you went to school on the east coast, west coast, in the Midwest or the south. Spread the word and please pass this invitation along to any alumni who would like to come.

Come join us Friday October 9, 2026 as we welcome back Lt. Colonel Natalie Lamb to our lunch. Natalie is the wife of former Marine and former San Diego Sigma Alumni Chapter president Ryan Lamb. Natalie is currently the Commanding Officer of the San Diego Recruit Depot. Hear more about the current events at MCRD as well as the Corps as they celebrate their 251 birthday on November 10 2026. She may even share some of the recruits' workout regimes in book camp, just in time for all of us to get that chiseled physique we've been wanting for your Holiday events.
