Alumni Luncheon

Please join us Friday May 10, 2026  as our speaker will be Rear Admiral David Boone. He is the CEO of San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC.)  This nonprofit advocates, informs and connects San Diego military with the community, industry and civic leaders. Following his 30 year career in the Navy, Admiral Boone has provided consulting services to a wide portfolio of clients in engineering and construction.

Raised in Yokohama, Japan and Oregon, he first attend the University of Oregon and the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology. He then transferred to Cal Poly SLP with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, then on to a Masters in Coastal Engineering and Construction Management from UC Berkeley. Before his retirement he was the Director of Shore Readiness where is was responsible for overseeing 70 bases worldwide and a $9 billion annual budget.  He was the Commanding Officer of Underwater Construction (Seabees), Navy contracting officer, a Navy Diver and has TOP SECRET SECURITY classification.
