ΣΧ Alumni Lunch | 18th International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi Julie Curtin Morris.

Join us for lunch Friday August 8th at 11:45 at Sigma Chi-owned Miguel’s-Old Town. Our special guest speaker this month will be 18th International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi Julie Curtin Morris.

Julie Curtin Morris attended San Diego State to pursue a degree in Health Sciences. While there she was initiated into the Chi Omega sorority and joined the Little Sisters of the Sig Chapter, Delta Xi. She became the chapter Sweetheart and with the brother’s support, received the honor of becoming the 18^th International Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. That 2 year allowed Julie to travel to Sigma Chi chapters around the country to help promote fundraisers and campus events. Continuing her support, now Julie particularly enjoys being on the International Sweetheart Scholarship Committee and helping her Sigma Chi Chapter, Delta Xi, whenever the need arises.

After college, Julie spent 25 years with Abbott and Abbvie Laboratories in sales and management in the fields of oncology, cardiology, endocrinology and medical devices. After retiring from Abbvie, Julie worked for Royal Canin, veterinary nutritional company to keep herself busy.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Julie is an avid competitor in outrigger canoe racing and is an active member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Team.  She continues to engage in activities that impact her community and will share some of those fun stories with us today!
