Alumni Lunch - May 2025 | Jamie McArthur - Retired Cost Guard Commander

Join us for lunch Friday May 9th at 11:45 at Miguel’s-Old Town where our speaker this month is Jamie McArthur.

Captain Jamie McArthur comes to us with a multitude of sailing experiences. He is a retired Cost Guard Commander, a retired Merchant Marine Captain, 60 years of competitive sailboat racing as well as being a retired special education teacher. In addition, he is a Certified Primary Race Officer through US Sailing with 15 years experience in accessible sailing. He started the KMAC Foundation in 2021.

Jamie the KMAC Foundation, provides therapeutic, recreational, and sailboat racing in specially adapted sailboats, as well as other sailing opportunities for people with disabilities to enhance their mobility, well-being, and independence. Come hear about the foundation and how KMAC hosts the regional, and international handicap sailing series.
