The San Diego Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter is proud to sponsor our second ritualistic alumni chapter meeting with the undergraduate brothers of Iota Chi and Delta Xi. Only initiated members of the Sigma Chi Fraternity may attend and ALL Sigma Chi who are living, visiting and/or working in San Diego County are invited regardless of what undergraduate university you attended.

The upcoming Grand Chapter will be held July 1-5, 2009, at the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston, S.C., where Sigs and their sweethearts and children will be surrounded by history, tradition and brothers from around the globe.

San Diego Sig Alumni Chapter Welcomes Mayor Sanders
On Friday June 12, 2009, the San Diego Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter proudly welcomes special guest speaker, San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders.
Over the course of his 30-year career, Sanders has proven skillful at transforming organizations so that they become more effective and efficient which has been especially true during his career with the city. Jerry Sanders was elected mayor in a special run-off election held in November 2005, receiving 54% of the vote against city council member Donna Frye. Sanders is the first mayor under the new "strong mayoral" form of city government.

The alumni chapter works to bring alumni together for both social and business networking along with working to assist the local undergraduates and the San Diego community. Serving on the executive board is a great way to get more involved and meet other local Sigs.
