- First Four (Formerly Opening Round Game): March 15-16, 2011
- Second Round: March 17-18, 2011
- Third Round: March 19-20, 2011
- Fourth Round: March 24-25, 2011
- Fifth Round: March 26-27, 2011
- Final Four: April 2 & 4, 2011 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Please join your fellow Alumni Brothers at our annual Membership Kick-Off event on Thursday March 24th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at the Tilted Kilt (310 10th Ave, San Diego, CA. 92101) restaurant in downtown San Diego.
There is plenty of parking in the parking lot across the street from the Tilted Kilt. We have a private room for our event and will be serving drinks and food for only $40 per Alumni Brother. The $40 will pay your 2011 dues and get you food and a drink. We will also have happy hour specials of $3 Beers, $3 House Wine, and $3 Well Drinks for our entire event from 5:30 to 8.
Not only will there be many Sigma Chi Alums from around the country who are members of the San Diego Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter, but you can also come enjoy some great March Madness College basketball!!!

March Alumni Lunch - Great new location and a great speaker!
ALL Sigma Chi alumni are welcome no matter if you went to school on the east coast, west coast, in the Midwest or the South. Join us for our monthy alumni lunch on March 11, 2011 at 11:45am.
Our guest speaker is Independent City Auditor, Eduardo Luna who is tasked with ridding City Government of waste!
Eduardo Luna was hired to run the Office of the City Auditor for the City of San Diego. This department was created in July 2008, to advance open and accountable government through accurate, independent, and objective audits and investigations that seek to improve the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of City government.

Undergraduates and alumni could serenade new sweetheart
This October marks the 100th anniversary of the creation of The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi song. To honor this special occasion, Sigma Chi will chose one brother to serenade the incoming international sweetheart at the 2011 Grand Chapter Sweetheart Reception on June 24 at the downtown Dallas Sheraton Hotel.

XETV San Diego 6 News interviewed Brother Bruce Kahn, (UC Irvine '84) M.D. director of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Scripps Clinic, to discuss a study that indicates the use of a hormonal birth control – mostly oral contraceptives – may actually lower women’s libido and, in some cases, lead to sexual dysfunction.

Superior Court Judge (Ret.) Bernard E. Revak will be speaking at our July luncheon.
Judge Revak (Delta Xi ’61) was appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Deukmejian in 1987. Prior to his judicial appointment, he served as a Deputy District Attorney in San Diego from January 1965 until May 1985. During this time he tried numerous homicide cases and in 1983 was named Prosecutor of the Year by the California District Attorney's Association. In May 1985 he joined the United States Attorney's Office in San Diego where he was assigned to the Organized Crime Narcotics Task Force.
