Join The San Diego Sig Alumni in Honoring our 2009 Awardees

The San Diego Sigma Chi Alumni Chapter cordially invites its members to attend the 2009 San Diego Alumni Awards Banquet where on this evening we will be honoring one local Sigma Chi alumni selected for the Order of Constantine and three brothers selected as "Significant Sigs."

The event will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 6:00pm at the Admiral Baker Clubhouse. The Admiral Baker Clubhouse is located at 2400 Admiral Baker Road., Bldg 3604, San Diego, CA 92120. Click HERE for directions.

Our Order of Constantine inductee is long time alumni chapter member Doug Johnson, (Delta Xi, '69). The honor of being named a “Constantine Sig” has been conferred on less than 500 brothers since the inception of the Order of Constantine at the 47th Grand Chapter in 1948.

Our Significant Sig honorees are (in alphabetical order) Brig. General Michael J. Aguilar (Ret.), Brad W. Dalusio, and GBadge Color on transparent smalleorge w. Hauer, Jr.

Brig. General Michael J. Aguilar (Ret.) (Cal. State-Long Beach, ‘72), has a 31-year military career followed by special civilian assignments involving numerous security agencies.

Brad W. Dalusio (UCLA, ’89), is a NFL place-kicker with a 12 year career that included the Pro Bowl, 2 Super Bowls and the #2 all-time scoring record for the New York Giants.

George W. Hauer, Jr. (San Diego State, ‘67) is the owner of George’s at the Cove, the world famous fine dining restaurant located in La Jolla.

The Significant Sig award is one of the Fraternity's highest honors. It recognizes "those alumni members whose achievements in their fields of endeavor have brought honor and prestige to the name of Sigma Chi." The Sigma Chi Fraternity has recognized more than 1,100 brothers since the Significant Sig award's inception at the 1935 Grand Chapter.
