Iota Chi is UCSD 2009 Chapter of the Year

The Chapter of the Year Award is given once a year to the chapter who excels in the following areas: Alumni Relations, Philanthropic Service, New Member Education, Risk Management, Scholarship, Recruitment, Brotherhood, Chapter Achievement, Greek Community Involvement, and Chapter Management.  Iota Chi placed the best overall among these categories of which we placed 1st in Philanthropic Involvement and Recruitment.

On the Individual level, brothers were recognized for their outstanding character and service to the Greek, UC San Diego, and San Diego Community.  Jacob Carl (Class of 2009) was recognized for Senior Campus & Community Involvement, Paul Nedeau (Class of 2009) was recognized for Chapter Service, Matthew Drasner (Class of 2009) was recognzied for Scholarship, and Rakim Johnson (Class of 2010) was recognized for Junior Leadership.

Overall we are very grateful and honored for winning these awards, and are committed to continually strive for the ideals that we cherish so that we could better be a credit to our Fraternity.
